FLOODED LEAD-ACID STARTING BATTERIES
With this battery technology, the electrolyte (battery acid mixed with water) flows freely within the battery cell, circulating through highly porous envelope separators that separate positive and negative plates. These batteries need to be installed upright to keep the electrolyte contained. Our sealed batteries are maintenance-free. The Canada Proof MIXTECH batteries contain patented technology that mixes the electrolytes, eliminating acid stratification, extending battery life. Starting batteries are typically used in transportation vehicles to start the engine.
